Pregnancy Loss

Pregnancy Loss

Every child holds deep meaning, including little ones who never had the chance to be born. Many families look for meaningful ways to honor a baby lost during pregnancy, whether through miscarriage or stillbirth, and want options that reflect the love they carry.

For many years, families had very few choices. In most situations, parents were unable to see their baby or take photos, especially when the loss occurred at an early gestational age.

Recognizing this need, our funeral home has worked to offer services that give parents and relatives options that were not previously available.

One of these options is a process known as saline submersion, which allows families to see their baby even when they are extremely small and delicate.

We also offer a selection of small caskets designed to hold the saline submersion container, with various styles available to help families choose what feels right for them.

Families may also select a cloth covering for babies under 20 weeks, choosing either a soft flannel blanket or a decorative fabric bag.

These coverings make it possible to gently wrap the baby while they remain protected inside the bottle, allowing parents to hold and cuddle their child in a safe and comforting way without causing harm to their baby’s fragile skin.
