Fern Victoria (Wolf) Glass

Fern Victoria Glass, 63 of Cascade passed away on June 15, 2020 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania after a brief battle with liver failure.

Born February 8, 1957 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Sidney J. and Mary C. nee Shriner Wolf.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband Barry Glass, a brother Jessie Wolf, and her dog Gizmo.

Fern enjoyed word searches, reading especially Robyn Carr novels, watching her favorite soap Days of Our Lives and then calling and talking to her sister Dorene about the episodes happenings. She dearly loved her family especially her grandson Tagen and her dog Bear.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Tiffany Hesketh (Corey), Mary Glass (Chad Houck), Grandson Tagen Hesketh, her siblings Dorene King (John), Pam Forney (Carroll), Brenda Wolf, Joyce Oaks (Roger), Fay Grimes (Eugene), Sidney Wolf (Sharon), Randy Wolf (Kathy), Sandy Culver (James), Mark Wolf (Lorretta), Cecclia Stambaugh (Wayne), and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

 Friends may call at BLACK’S FUNERAL HOME, 224 N. Church Street Suite B Thurmont, MD on THURSDAY JUNE 18, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday June 19, 2020 11 AM at BLACK’S FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Kurt Schroder officiating, interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Fern’s care has been entrusted to Black’s Funeral Home of Thurmont.
