Walter Carleton Edwards, 47 of Westminster passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2017 at his home.

Born on March 20, 1969 he was the son of Eleanor McClelland and the late Harold Edwards.

Walter was a veteran of the US Army and served in Desert Storm.

In addition to his mother Walter is survived by Stacey Edwards of Westminster, his loving daughters Olivia and Ashley Edwards both of Westminster, step-mother Elizabeth Edwards of North Carolina, his aunt Leota Rose of North Carolina, cousin Eleanor Register of North Carolina, and all of his friends at Flowserve of Taneytown where he worked.

Funeral services will be held at the chapel at Garrison Forest Veteran's Cemetery 11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117, on Tuesday February 28, 2017 with Rev. Charles Barnhart officiating.

Walter's care has been entrusted to Black's Funeral Home of Westminster.
