Thomas “Tommy” Lee Cahill, 33 of Needmore, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on February 15, 2026, at his home from injuries sustained from a house fire.

Born September 1, 1992, he was the son of Mary Jane and the late George Forrest Cahill.

In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his beloved fiancé Katherin Dee Berkstresser and daughter Olivia Grace Cahill who perished with him in the fire.

Tommy wore his heart on his sleeve and would give someone the shirt off his back. Tommy didn’t believe in holding grudges and forgave people as quickly as he loved them. He loved his family and spending time with them outdoors. Tommy loved playing pool and was a lover of music, Motley Crue being one of his top favorite bands. He was a member of Clayton Bible Church of Mercersburg.

In addition to his mother Tommy is survived by his biological mother Andrea Cahill; his children John Jarrett, Emmellia Reed, Trinity Cahill, Ari Cahill; brothers Derek, Shawn, & Ryan Cahill; uncle Terry Cahill; his nieces Hannah Cahill, Carmen Cahill, Elizabeth Cahill, Nephew Zakk Cahill and many cousins. Tommy will also be fondly remembered by his dear friends Justin Reed, Jessica Truax, Jeremy & Chelsee Gallup.

Friends may call at the Clayton Memorial Church of God: 6701 Charlestown Rd. Mercersburg, PA on SATURDAY February 28, 2026 from 11 AM to 12 PM with a celebration of life beginning promptly at 12. Interment will follow in Hartman Memorial Cemetery Hustontown, PA with Pastor Rachel Elkins officiating.
