Maurice "Marty" Everett Sites Jr, 72 of Emmitsburg died on March 11, 2025, at Spring Creek Nursing & Rehab in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Born June 1, 1952, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Maurice Everett Sr. & Lillian Madoline nee Martin Sites. He was the husband of Brenda Sites for 43 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Darlene Mort and Jane Sites; and father-in-law Samuel E. Stambaugh Jr.

Marty worked for many years at Moore Business Forms, now part of R.R. Donelley and sons, in Thurmont, MD.

Marty enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his son. He enjoyed playing bingo and mushroom hunting and walking in the woods around his home. He was a fun dad and enjoyed talking to people.

He is survived by his wife Brenda E. Sites; son Shawn R. (Rachael) Sites; daughter Sherry L Sites, Crystal Sites; brothers Kevin, Bill, Troy (Amy), Cory (Kari), & Pete (June) Sites; sisters Tammy (Joe) Wagerman; brothers-in-law Sam Stambaugh, Doug Stambaugh, Greg (Diane) Stambaugh, mother-in-law Sarah Ann Stambaugh; and best friend Danny Wetzel. Marty is also survived by his grandchildren Bella and Bailee Donaldson, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marty will be greatly missed by family and friends.
