Lois R (Bailey) Griffith, 86 of Thurmont, MD passed to be with her Lord on March 28, 2023, at home.

Born September 22, 1936 in Lantz, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Hubert D. Bailey and Madlyn R. (Brown) Bailey. She was the sister to the late Joseph D. Bailey Sr. and surviving sister Vera-Jean (Bailey) Benchoff of Blue Ridge Summit, PA.

Surviving are her husband Nolan L. Griffith; daughter Lisa J. (Griffith) Eyler of Waynesboro, PA and son Nolan L Griffith Jr. of Thurmont, MD and her grand- children and many nieces and nephews.

She is a graduate of Thurmont High School and Beauty School. She had her own Beauty Salon in Blue Ridge Summit, PA for many years before retiring.

She faithfully worked with the Thurmont Food Bank, McDonalds, Roy Rogers and served in the nursey at the Weller Church for many years. She was devoted to family and working diligently all her life.

Services will be held at Weller Church, in Thurmont, MD on April 8, 2023. Receiving of Friends will be at 3:30pm, with a Memorial Service at 4:30pm.
