Kay Cecilia Ridenour, 63 of Thurmont passed away Tuesday April 17, 2018 surrounded by her family at her home.

Born on January 6, 1955 in Frederick, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Merle Edwin & Mary Doris nee Eyler Knott.

Kay was the loving wife of Theodore "Ted" Ridenour to whom she was married for 46 years.

Kay enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Timothy Ridenour of Thurmont; sister Wanda O'Brien & husband Michael of Thurmont, granddaughter Carly Ridenour of Thurmont; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and good friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday April 20, 2018, 10 AM at St. Anthony's Shrine: 16150 St Anthony Rd, Emmitsburg, MD 21727 with Deacon Joe Wolf officiating.
