Karyn Maureen Linden, 55 of New Market, MD passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at her home. Karyn was born October 17, 1967, in Frederick, Maryland. She was the daughter of Darlene Leona (Webb) Sullivan and the late Charles Edward Sullivan. She is survived by her son, Christopher Shumaker, and daughter, Kirstyn Shumaker. Along with her children, she is survived by her ex-husband Richard W. Linden, brothers Charles Sullivan and Matthew Sullivan, sister Krista Wells (Wayne Wells), sister-in-law Pam Sullivan, stepson Richard D. Linden, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Cooper Shumaker, Sophie Shumaker, Dorsey Shumaker, Barbara Catterton, and Caroline Bechtol. Karyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and a proud army veteran. She was also a major supporter of community fundraisers, especially for St. Jude's. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Amvets Post #2 "The Farm", in Frederick, MD on October 15, 2023, from 12:00pm -4:00pm.

Karyn's care has been entrusted to Blacks Funeral Home of Sabillasville, MD.
