John Henry Forrest, 40 of Thurmont passed away unexpectedly April 18, 2022.

Born April 10, 1982, in Frederick, Maryland he was the son of Daniel P. & Pamela S. nee Smith Forrest.

He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Forrest Jr.; paternal grandparents Grafton & Edna Forrest; and maternal grandmother Mary C. Smith.

John loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, dirt track & sprint car races. John was a faithful employee and loved working for Lochland Turf Farm.

He is survived by his father Daniel Forrest (Janet); mother Pam Forrest (Wayne); children Justyne, Delanie, Jackie, & Brooklyn; sister Crystal Forrest; maternal grandfather John Smith; aunt Melissa Hanshew (David); nephews James & David; and numerous cousins. John will also be fondly remembered by his significant other, Kirstin Pickett, and his hunting and fishing partners Corey Doody, Jamie Shultz, Mike Lewis, & Mike Bradshaw.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
