Frances Virginia nee Bassford Johnson, 96 of Gettysburg, PA passed away on Monday, January 4, 2020, at Gettysburg Hospital.

Born September 2, 1924, in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Florence Elizabeth Barnes.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bill) Johnson; son Joseph Reigle, daughters Ronnie Lee Moorman, Barbara Reigle; brother Joseph Follin; and sister Gladys Johnson.

Frances was employed by and retired from the US Department of Transportation where she worked as a secretary. She enjoyed her crossword puzzles, watching tv, and loved her convertible cars.

Surviving is her sister Sarah Davis, son-in-law Robert Moorman, grandchildren Robert Michael Moorman, Gerald Wayne Moorman, Gary Dwayne Moorman, Joe Riggle, Tina Riggle, Ronnie Riggle, Alyssa Riggle, James Riggle; nephews George Richard Davis Jr, Lee Allen Davis, John Patrick Davis and niece Beverly Anne Davis.

Arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.

Frances care has been entrusted to Black's Funeral Home.
