David James Gauvreau of Frederick, left us unexpectedly on July 30, 2016 at his home.

David was born on Sunday, March 5, 1961 in Washington, D.C. to the late Charles and Eileen Dunn Gauvreau.  He grew up in Wheaton and was a 1980 graduate of Wheaton High School.  He was employed with EMCOR in Bethesda as a mechanical engineer.

David is survived by his siblings, Susan Fassanella (James) of Middletown, William Gauvreau of Jessup, Robert Gauvreau (Dawn) of Sumter, SC, and Patrick Gauvreau (Tammy) of Guyton, GA.  He was the beloved uncle of Kevin and Patrick Fassanella, Aaron Gauvreau, and Brian, Brianna, and Luke Gauvreau.  David will also be remembered by his dear friend Bridget Kennedy.

David loved animals and birds and he drew them to him like a magnet.  He enjoyed motorcycle riding, range shooting, and tinkering with everything mechanical.

Rest in comfort and peace, dear Brother, until we meet again.

A celebration of David's life is being planned for a later date.
