Betty Jo Snodgrass, 71 of Rocky Ridge went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 6, 2018 after a long illness.

Born on April 21, 1947 in Piney View, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Agnes McDaniel.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Jerry McDaniel and sisters Margaret McDaniel and Lois Meade.

Betty is survived by her husband of 51 years Woodrow W. Snodgrass Jr.; her son Woodrow W. Snodgrass III; brothers Harold McDaniel (Paula), Gary McDaniel, Darrell McDaniel (Dreama), Billy McDaniel (Ellie), Jeff McDaniel (Edna); sisters Mary Etta Meadows (Pete), Sandy Wingrove (Wayne), Patty Fox (Wayne); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be fondly remembered by her close friends Roberta Boley and Ann King.

The family would like to thank Crystal Cromwell and Michelle Paulus for all of the care and support they provided.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced at the Elk View Cemetery Charleston, West Virginia.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to Hospice of Frederick County P.O. Box 1799 Frederick, MD 21702.

Betty's care has been entrusted to Black's Funeral Home of Thurmont.
