Aniello Carlo Scotto, 60 of Westminster passed away June 2, 2016 at his home; surrounded by his family following a brief illness.

Born February 8, 1956 in Napoli, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Giuseppa Romeo DiSantillo Scotto DiCarlo.

Surviving are his wife Christa, one daughter Maria, two sons Joseph & wife Elizabeth, and Thomas, his mother Giuseppa, two brothers Bruno & wife Rosaria, Vittorio & wife Monica, Two Sisters Giovanna Lubrano & husband Vitale, Anna Fortunato & husband Carlo granddaughter Brianna, and many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Aniello worked for and owned many restaurants throughout area as an accomplished chef, however his favorite of them all and one best known for was Scotto's Café in Westminster.

A memorial mass will be held June 10, 2016 at 11:30 A.M. at St. John's Catholic Church; 43 Monroe Street Westminster, MD 21157 with Father John Worgul and Deacon Joseph Cinquino officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Meadow Branch Cemetery, Westminster.
