Kyle Alan Manahan

Kyle Alan Manahan, 24 of Thurmont passed away unexpectedly on Sunday September 23, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 28th, 1994 in Gettysburg, PA he was the son of Richard Manahan Jr. and Tammy Shriner.

Kyle was met at Heaven’s gates by Adam Manahan (Brother), Frank Shriner (Maternal Grandfather), John Bushman (First Cousin), Timothy Stone, (Step-Sibling), Rozellia Furgason (Step-Grandmother), and David Plaza (Mom’s Fiancé).

 Kyle graduated from Catoctin High School and was employed for many years by Shamrock Restataunt in Thurmont. Kyle enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also liked to hunt on his Grandfather’s farm on occasion as well.

In addition to his parents he will be remembered by his Step-Mom Audrey Manahan, brothers Caleb Manahan, William Carbaugh, Robert Stone III, sisters Ciara, Kassandra, & Hope Manahan, Angela White & Robert, Samantha Carbaugh ; paternal grandparents Richard Sr. & Patricia Manahan, maternal grandmother Alice Shriner, special niece Hayley Manahan and many other numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.

Kyle will also be remembered by his Shamrock family including specials friends Kathi Armitage and Deb Fitzgerald.

The family will receive friends Tuesday October 2, 2018 starting at 9 A.M until the start of service. at Deerfield United Methodist Church, 16405 Foxville-Deerfield Rd. Sabillasville, MD with funeral services beginning promptly at 11 A.M. with Pastor Ray Dudley officiating.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery.

Kyle’s care has been entrusted to Black’s Funeral Home of Thurmont.
