Brian Peter Baudassi

Brian Peter Baudassi, 43, of Fairfield, entered into Heaven on December 7, 2018. Brian was the beloved son of Kathleen B. (Moring) and the late Peter T. Baudassi.

He was born February 3, 1975 in Huntington Station, NY where he was always by or in the water. His love of the ocean always stayed with him and one of his favorite activities was to go fishing. In 1985, his family bought an apple orchard in Orrtanna, PA where he enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling and an occasional rock battle with his brother. He served as a US Marine and made his living as a skilled carpenter. He also had a big heart for animals, especially black labs.

He is survived by his beloved son, Zachary D. Baudassi who was Brian’s greatest pride. From dirt car races at Lincoln Speedway, small building projects or a simple game of catch with his son, nothing filled Brian with more joy than being with Zack. He also volunteered as a coach for his son’s little league baseball team in Smithsburg, MD.

In addition, he is survived by his brother, Matthew T. Baudassi (Janice) and nephews. He is also remembered by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Grace Bible Church, 2430 Tract Road, Fairfield PA on Thursday, December 20th from 6-7:15pm with Pastor Barlow officiating. A private funeral at a later date will be held at McKnightstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to Fisher House Foundation is appreciated. 

Brian's care has been entrusted to Black's Funeral Home of Thurmont.
