Edward Michael Baker

Edward Michael Baker, 76, of Sabillasville, Maryland, died peacefully at his home on December 4, 2023. Born March 19, 1947, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Edward was the son of the late Richard Fern Baker and Charlotte Geraldine Wade. He was the loving husband of Margaret Louise Baker of Sabillasville, MD for 54 years. He was proceeded in death by his sister, “Patty” Patricia Baker.

He graduated from Parsons College in Iowa with a B.A. in business in 1969 and was a member of the Germantown Bethel Church.

Edward will be remembered fondly by his sons Travis (Mary Lou), Scott (Jenn), and Chris. In addition to his wife and sons, he will be remembered by his grandchildren Olivia, Levi, Shelby, Kenna, and Ryder.

Edward enjoyed deer hunting, rock collecting, fishing, country western music, and Horses.

A celebration of life will be held at the Germantown Church of God in Cascade,MD on Sunday, December 17,2023 from 2:00pm-5:00pm.

Edward’s care has been entrusted to Black's Funeral Home of Sabillasville, MD.
